Computer Engineering

Considering the importance of computers in the life of human and today’s industry, computer engineering was among the first fields established in the University College of Daneshvaran. Since then, our major aim been to provide students with self-reliance, self-confidence, and fluency in technology in trying to learn the state-of-arts technology in the field. So, the Department of Computer Engineering of the University College of Daneshvaran tries to have comprehensive program in teaching and research to provide inspired students and quality education in computer engineering, both in the theory and in practice.

Degree Programs and Courses

Department of computer engineering offers Associate of Science (A.Sc.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Master of Science (M.Sc.), programs and considering some Joint-Degree Programs.

Joint-Degree Programs
Currently, we are considering the possibility of offering Computer Engineering Programs in B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. levels, jointly with other well-known international universities. The medium of instruction for these programs (The Joint-Degree Programs) will be English.

A.Sc. Degree Program
This program mainly aims to train technicians, capable of working as individuals or groups in order to produce computer programs, design web pages, and establish different computer networks and information networks. The students are required to complete 79 credit hours within 4 semesters of enrolment toward the degree.

B.Sc. Degree Program
Undergraduate students are required to complete 140 credit hours within 8 semesters of enrollment toward the degree.

M.Sc. Degree Program
The major goal of this program is to train experts with ability to manage, design, implement, and maintenance of complicated computer programs required in different scientific fields and industry. The number of credit hours required to earn the Master's degree is 32 (26 theoretical credits and 6 Thesis credits).

This program includes the following courses:
